Students from Portugal, Italy, Slovakia, Poland and Turkey participated in another meeting, which this time was hosted in Ankara (28th November - 2nd December 2022). The students worked on project activities which included working on multilingual dictionary and learning about water situation in Turkey.
During the meeting students had an opportunity to visit İvedic Water Purification Establishment, which is the biggest in Turkey. They could learn about the purification of domestic and industrial water. The meeting was also enriched with the lectures about water in Turkey, which were given in Cankaya Municipality. During their visit to Cankaya Municipality, the students also took part in a cleaning activity in a local park.
Students also had the chance to learn about the history of the country while visiting Atatürk Mausoleum. Ankara was not the only destination for the project partners. The participants spent two days in Capadoccia, where they learnt about the historical and natural heritage of Turkey.
The exchange to Turkey allowed the students to develop their language skills as they were staying with Turkish families. Therefore, the participants had the chance to practise their English during daily conversations.
The project combines numerous activities that will allow the students to share their knowledge about water aspects and ecology not only in their homelands but also on an international scale.
